The women’s volleyball team of Volero Le Cannet qualified for the semi-finals of the Coupe de France Women after a victory versus Evreux with 3-1 (25:19, 17:25, 25:21, 25:17).
Cuban player Heidy Casanova was the top scorer for Volero Le Cannet with 28 points, while Bulgarian Eva Yaneva added 8 points for the success.
Thus, in the semifinals, Volero Le Cannet will face Beziers on March 30.
The team of Beziers reached the semifinals after beating the team of Vandoeuvre with 3-0 at home (25:23, 25:18, 25:18).
The other semi-final match is Saint-Raphael vs RC Cannes. Saint-Raphael took the victory over Paris with 3-1 (25:23, 24:26, 25:20, 25:18), while RC Cannes won the match versus Venelles with 3-0 (30:28, 25:22, 25:20).
The final will be played on April 2 in Paris.
