Federica Brignone claimed her tenth career victory in the Super-G

Italian alpine skier Federica Brignone claimed a tenth career victory in the Super-G discipline after being fastest and most adaptable to the harsh conditions and low visibility in Kvitfjell.

Federica Brignone completed the treacherous course in 1:37.30 min, leaving overall World Cup leader Lara Gut-Behrami 0.61 sec behind. Ester Ledecka finished third, 0.79 sec behind.

Rounding out the top 10 were Kajsa Vickhoff Lie, Lauren Macuga, Stephanie Venier, Cornelia Hutter, Ariane Raedler, Alice Robinson and Ragnhild Mowinckel.

Lara Gut-Behrami extended her lead at the top of the Small Crystal Globe standings in Super-G – she has 540 points and Cornelia Hutter is now 69 behind. Federica Brignone is third, 74 points behind the leader, with one more start to go before the end of the season. So the champion will be broadcast between the three mentioned above.

Lara Gut-Behrami has 1,594 points in the overall World Cup standings, with her lead over Federica Brignone shrinking to 326 points. Absent Mikaela Shiffrin was third with 1,209 points.
