Turkey beat Germany to record 5th straight win at the Women’s Volleyball World Cup

The Turkish women’s national volleyball team recorded its 5th victory at World Cup, which is being held in Poland and the Netherlands. Giovanni Guidetti-led team beat Germany by 3-0 (25:21, 25:18, 25:21) in a Group F.

The top scorer for Turkey was Eda Erdem Dundar with 14 points (2 aces, 2 blocks), while Hande Baladin finished with 12 points.

For Germany, Jennifer Janiska topped everyone with 16 points (1 ace, 1 block).

The Turks are third in the standings with 14 points (5 wins, 1 loss), while Germany is 8th with 7 points (2 wins, 4 losses).

The next match for Turkey is on October 5 (Wednesday), while the German women’s volleyball team face Thailand.
