Serbian Milica Mandic won gold in Taekwondo +67 kg at Tokyo 2020 Olympics after winning the final fight versus South Korean Lee Dabin with 10-8.

The first round was marked by the absolute domination of the Serbian competitor, Milica Mandic first hit her rival once in armor, and even in a helmet, and after the introductory part of the final, she led with 5:0. After the second round, the result was 6:3 and everything was open. That part of the fight was marked by several controversial moves, captures, and hits.

In the last round, a great drama was seen, the South Korean competitor equalized at 6:6, and then Milica Mandic attacked and reached gold in the style of a great champion.

On the way to the medal, Milica Mandic defeated the representative of Kenya, Faith Ogallo, with 13:0, and in the quarterfinals, with 11:4, she easily defeated Aleksandra Kowalczuk. In the semifinals, she won by 7:5 against the super-talented Althea Laurin, the current junior world champion.

The bronze medal went to British Bianca Walkden, who won versus Polish Aleksandra Kowalczuk by 7-3.
