Olga Carmona is a Spanish professional footballer who plays as a left-back for Liga F club Real Madrid Femenino and the Spain national team. She is the World champion with Spain and one of he top players in the country.

Olga Carmona García was born on June 12, 2000, in Seville, Spain. She started in football at the age of six with the youth club Sevilla Este, before joining Sevilla Football Academy in 2007.

Olga Carmona turned pro in 2017, playing for the senior team of Sevilla FC Femenino. In the 2017/2018 season, she appeared in 22 matches and scored 5 goals with her team finishing 12th in the Spanish Primera Division (now Liga F). In the 2018/2019 season, Olga Carmona appeared in a total of 31 matches in the Spanish Primera Division and Spanish Cup and scored 2 goals. Her team finished 10th in the standings and reached the semi-finals of the Copa de la Reina.

In 2018, she was first called for the Spanish junior national team Euro U19 Women qualifications and finals, where the Spanish U19 team won the title, scoring 2 goals in 5 matches that she appeared in, bringing the victory of her team in the quarter-finals.

In the 2019/2020 season, Olga Carmona continued playing for Sevilla FC Femenino, appearing in 20 matches in the Spanish Primera Division and her team finished 11th in the standings. In 2019, she also played at the Euro U19 Women with the Spanish national team, appearing in 4 games and scoring one goal. The team reached the semi-finals, losing to the later champion France.

In July 2020, Olga Carmona was transferred to the newly formed women’s football club Real Madrid Femenino. In the new club, she became one of the key players. In the four seasons since signing with Real Madrid Femenino, Olga Carmona appeared in a total of 99 matches and scored 11 goals in local competitions, as well as another appeared in 19 matches and scored 6 goals in the UEFA Women’s Champions League.

Real Madrid Femenino won the silver at the Spanish Primera Division (and Liga F) in 2020/2021 and 2022/2023, as well as the bronze in 2021/2022, but also was the runner-up at the Copa de la Reina Women in 2022/2023 and reached the semi-finals in 2021/2022. The team also reached the quarter-finals of the UEFA Women’s Champions League in 2021/2022.

Olga Carmona also had a great achievement with the Spanish national team, winning the World Cup Women’s title in 2023 and the silver at the Arnold Clark Cup Women in 2022. So far, Olga Carmona has a total of 34 matches for the Spanish national team and scored 3 goals.
