Claire Hogle is an American golfer and one of the biggest talents in the sports. She was awarded as the California State University San Marcos Freshman of the Year and a Golfer of the Week. She had a bright future in golf, but a shoulder injury suspended her growing career.
Claire Hogle was born on September 03, 1999 in San Diego, California, United States. She graduate of Rancho Bernardo High School in 2017 after becoming Valley League Champions in 2015/2016 season and being undefeated for 55 matches in a row through graduating year. Claire Hogle definitely showed a great talent in golf and quickly became one of the most prospective players in the country.
After graduating high school, Claire Hogle attended to California State University San Marcos and already in her first year became a member of the CCAA Championship team, bringing the first title in school history. During the 2017/2018 season, she placed fifth at the Point Loma Reach and second at the inaugural CCAA Championship. She ended the season with the award CCAA Freshman of the Year and was part of the All-CCAA first team.
In 2018/2019 season, Claire Hogle continue gaining great results in the golf after finishing second at the Mikuni Sushi Shootout, West Texas A&M Desert Invite, and CCAA Championship, as well as third at the Tim Tierney Pioneer Shootout. She competed at the NCAA Division II Championship, but ended the competition on 62nd place.
Claire Hogle continue playing golf during the 2019/2020 season, competing at the RJGA Shootout at Estrella, Tim Tierney Pioneer Shootout, Dixie State Invitational, and Women’s DII National Preview, but her biggest achievement was the third place at the CSUSM Fujikura Invitational.
After graduating in 2021, Claire Hogle suffered a shoulder injury, which seriously affected her growing career.
“All throughout high school and college my goal was to play pro golf. I got a shoulder injury so it kind of forced me to change course,”, said Claire Hogle in an interview recently. “I’ve definitely thought about considering playing professionally or even just getting back into competitive golf, whether it’s amateur golf or anything. I really, really fell in love with golf because of the competitive side of it, so, it would be super fun to get back into that and see how I could shape my game up and see what I can do in that area. We’ll just have to see”, added she.
Claire Hogle became a golf influencer with millions of followers and although the injury hampered her career impetus, she is gaining experience in the amateur tournaments and still hoping to turn pro.
