The Bulgarian freestyle wrestler Bilyana Dudova won another gold medal in her career. She triumphed at the international tournament in Romania “Ion Cornianu and Ladislau Simon”. In the final in the category up to 59 kg, the Bulgarian defeated the Hungarian Tamara Dollak with 10:0, which brought the first award for the country from the competition in the Romanian capital.
On the way to the title, Bilyana Dudova recorded 4 victories – three, of which with technical superiority and one by points.
Bilyana Dudova is a silver medalist at the World Wrestling Championships and a five-time medalist, including four golds, at the European Wrestling Championships.
This year, she won another the gold medal in the 59 kg event at the 2021 European Wrestling Championships held in Warsaw, Poland. She defeated Veronika Chumikova of Russia in the final.
