Marta Rossetti is an Italian alpine skier. She specializes in the slalom and has 3 wins out of 10 podiums for the FIS as well as 1 win out of 3 podiums for the European Cup.
Marta Rossetti was born on March 25, 1999, in Puegnago del Garda, Italy. At a very young age, she divided her time between alpine skiing and athletics and then focused solely on the winter discipline, training in the Agonistica Campiglio Valrendena ski club. She won several junior Italian races, becoming the junior champion of Italy in 2017 and 2018.
She has been active in FIS competitions since November 2015, she made her debut in the European Cup on December 16, 2016, in Andalo, going out in the second run, and in the World Cup on January 5, 2019, in Zagreb Sljeme, not qualifying for the second run. On February 22, 2017, Marta Rossetti won her first professional podium at FIS slalom in Limone (Italy), finishing second. By the end of the year, she had two more podiums at the Sarntal- Reinswald.
In 2018, Marta Rossetti had a very strong season at the FIS, winning her first gold in the Abetone (Italy) on February 12. In December same year she also won her second gold in Pfelders. Meanwhile, she had podiums in Golte (Slovenia), Prapoutel 7 Laux (France), Lenzerheide (Switzerland).
Marta Rossetti won the Slovenian national championships bronze in 2019 but also triumphed with the gold at the Italian Championships in Madonna di Campiglio. At the FIS she has one podium at the Cerro Castor (Argentina).
Marta Rossetti scored her first World Cup points on January 14, 2020, finishing 22nd in Flachau. On the following January 17, 2020, she obtained her first victory in Zell am See, as well as her first podium. By the end of the season, she had 2 more podiums in Hasliberg (Switzerland) and Ahrntal – Klausberg (Italy). During the season she had her best overall ranking of 10th.
However, she suffered a knee injury in 2021, missing most of the season.
In 2022, Marta Rossetti had another podium at FIS, finishing 3rd in the Val Casies (Italy).
In 2023, she competed at the South American Cup in Cerro Castor, finishing 5th in the slalom. Later the same season, she made her best result at the World Cup, finishing 5th in Killington (USA).
