Katarina Lazovic is a Serbian volleyball player, playing as a wing spiker for the Turkish volleyball club Galatasaray Daikin and the Serbian national volleyball team. She is a World and European champion with the Serbian national team, champion, and Italian Serie A1 silver medalist with Vero Volley Monza.
Katarina Lazovic was born on September 12, 1999, in Belgrade, Serbia. She started in volleyball at an early age and showed great skills. She started straining with the youth club OK Vizura Belgrade but also was called for the youth national volleyball team. Already in 2014, she won the title at the European Championships U19, while in the next year earned the silver at the European Championships U18, where was awarded the Best outside hitter and Best scorer.
Katarina Lazovic started her professional career in 2015, playing for the OK Vizura Belgrade, winning the Serbian SuperCup, Serbian Superleague, and Serbian Cup, but also played in the Champions League. With the Serbian youth team, she won the silver at the European Youth Olympic Festival. During the next four seasons, Katarina Lazovic continued playing for the Serbian volleyball club, dominating the local league and playing in European championships, winning Serbian Superleague and Serbian SuperCup three times, and Serbian Cup once, but also finishing 5th at the CEV Cup 2016/2017 and 9th in the Champions League 2017/2018. In the same period, with the national team, she won the Gloria Cup 2019 and finished 5th in the Volleyball Nations League 2018.
Katarina Lazovic moved to Poland in 2019 to sign with LKS Commercecon Lodz. During the two seasons with the club, she earned twice the bronze at the TAURON Liga and once the bronze in the Polish Cup, but also her team finished 9th in the Champions League 2020/2021. With the national team, she earned the silver at the European Championships 2021.
In 2021, Katarina Lazovic signed with the elite Italian volleyball club Vero Volley Monza, to win the silver at the Italian Serie A1 and to finish 5th in the Champions League. She had a fantastic season with the Serbian national team, winning the title at the World Championships 2022 and the bronze at the Volleyball Nations League 2022.
In 2022, Katarina Lazovic played in Turkey and China for the teams Beijing BAIC Motor and Cukurova Belediyesi Spor Kulubu. Although did not achieve some significant success on the club level, with the national volleyball team she won the bronze at the European Championships 2023.
Katarina Lazovic signed with Galatasaray Daikin in 2023, winning the BVA Cup 2023/2024 and finishing 9th in the Challenge Cup.
