Top-seeded Czech tennis doubles Barbora Krejcikova / Katerina Siniakova will play for the gold medals with Switzerland’s double Belinda Bencic / Viktorija Golubic at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.
In the semi-finals, Barbora Krejcikova and Katerina Siniakova achieved a difficult success over the Russians Veronika Kudermetova and Elena Vesnina vt 2-1 (6:3; 3:6; 10:6) for an hour and a half.
In the other semi-final, Belinda Bencic and Victoria Golubic achieved a far easier success against the Brazilians Laura Pigossi and Luisa Stefani with 2-0 (7:5; 6:3). The match, however, lasted also an hour and a half.
Thus, the Swiss tennis player Belinda Bencic will have the opportunity to play for the gold medal in singles and doubles.
