The European indoor high jump silver medalist Iryna Gerashchenko topped the world rankings for the season. She achieved 1.96m, which is currently the top result for the season.
Iryna Gerashchenko, who finished fourth at the World Championships in Oregon last summer, won the competition in Kyiv with 1.96m. She then tried to set an indoor personal best of 2.00m as well, but failed to do so.
Her training partner and London 2017 outdoor world silver medalist Yuliya Levchenko finished second with 1.85m.
Iryna Gerashchenko is a Ukrainian high jumper. She competed at the 2016 Summer Olympics and 2020 Summer Olympics, finishing 10th and 4th respectively. She has a personal best of 2.00m (outdoors) and 1.98m (indoors).
