Kralovo Pole Brno and Selmy Brno missed their first chances for qualifying for the final of the Czech women’s volleyball Extraliga. Both teams are just a win away from the final but missed their first chances after five-game losses.
Kralovo Pole Brno lost the third leg match versus Prostejov after a surprising turnover by 2-3 (25-17, 25-20, 23-25, 19-25, 13-25). Thus Prostejov remained in the semi-final competition reducing the overall result to 2-1.
In the other semi-final, Selmy Brno also missed a golden chance to qualify for the final, after losing by 2-3 to VK Liberec by 2-3 (24:26, 25:22, 25-19, 27-29, 10-15). Selmy Brno is also leading in the overall result by 2-1.
Thus, the semi-finals will continue on April 19.
