Barcelona smashed Fortuna Hjorring by 5-0 as a guest from the Round of 16 at the Europe Champions League Women. The Spanish women did not give a chance to their German opponents and with an aggregate score of 0-9 qualified for the quarter-finals of the tournament.
Aitana Bonmati gave an advantage to Barcelona in the 36th minute after the assistance of Ana-Maria Crnogorcevic. Despite the only one goal in the first half, the Spanish team smashed their opponents.
The second half made the result quite bigger. Aitana Bonmati scored her second goal in the 49th minute, while Mariona Caldentey scored the third goal in the 55th minute. Barcelona continued to press their opponents and during the last 10 minutes scored two more goals. The goal scorers were again Asisat Lamina Oshoala and Marta Torrejon.
The easy win for Barcelona versus Fortuna Hjorring proved the first match between the two teams, which ended 4-0. Thus, after an aggregate score of 0-9 Barcelona qualified for the quarter-finals of the Europe Champions League Women.
