The European champion and record holder in the 400m hurdles, Femke Bol, achieved another success in the Diamond League. The Dutch athlete, who at the Paris 2024 Olympics won bronze in the 400m hurdles, silver in the 4x400m relay and gold in the 4x400m medley relay, convincingly earned first place in Lausanne Diamond League with 52.25 sec, which is a new meeting record. The previous one was also her work – 52.76 sec from last year.
Rushell Clayton (Jamaica) finished second with 53.32 sec, and her compatriot Janieve Russell came third with 54.48 sec.
In the women’s 800m run, the world champion from Budapest 2023 and Olympic bronze medalist from Paris Mary Moraa (Kenya) prevailed with 1:57.91 min.
